Earlier in 2020 we had to make the difficult decision to postpone the annual meeting due to be held at Northumbria University. Whilst obviously we are disappointed we are not able to meet face-to-face to share our latest work, projects, or research and to catch up with friends and colleagues, we are looking forward to our virtual meeting to be held on September 8th 2020.

This free one-day webinar will celebrate the 2020 Medal Winners and providing them the opportunity to share their award-winning research, as well as a chance for members to ask them questions. During the webinar we will also hear from the Chair of the Society, updates from the vice-chairs of each of our sub-Committees, and the latest from our journal Earth Surface Processes and Landforms.

The webinar will be simultaneously broadcast via our YouTube channel, where you will be able to participate via comments, and there are limited places for members wishing to participate in the Zoom webinar itself. We are currently exploring options for networking and social activities to go alongside the webinar too.
