BSG 2016 AGM Abstract Deadline Extended

A combination of the half-term holidays and some technical issues with mail shots* has resulted in a number of requests to extend the abstract deadline for the BSG2016 Annual Meeting (Plymouth, 5-7th September, 2016). As such, we are happy to announce a short extension until 20th June. Many thanks to the 60+ of you who have submitted already.

Abstract submission is achieved through the conference website at: https://www.plymouth.ac.uk/whats-on/bsg-2016. (Note that conference registration is not required at the same time as abstract submittal.) We will notify colleagues of accepted abstracts by early July and publish the draft programme shortly thereafter.

Arrangements for the conference are progressing very well: registration will remain open until shortly before the conference but it will help our planning enormously if you can register as soon as possible! This is particularly the case if you are intending to attend the Early Career Researcher session or our Moor to See field trip.

*We are aware that some folks have not been receiving announcements from the BSG. This was due to some technical constraints on the mailing list which have now been recognised and accommodated. Also, please be aware that the Gilbert Club mailing list has been inoperative for several weeks following a software upgrade but should soon be functional again.
