Geomorphological Techniques

Edited by: Andrew Goudie (1990 2nd Edition).

This is the second edition of this authoritative coverage. A new chapter on neotectonics reflects the impact of developments in tectonic theory, and heavily revised sections deal with advances in remote sensing, image analysis, radiometric dating, geomorphometry, data loggers, radioactive tracers, and the determination of pore water pressure and the rates of denudation. Classic Landforms Series

The Classic Landform Guides are published by the Geographical Association (http://www.geography.org.uk/) in conjunction with the British Geomorphological Research Group. Each guide, prepared by a subject expert, has full colour photographs, high quality original cartography and illustrations, and with the support of the Ordnance Survey, map extracts.
