Meeting Location:

The Annual Conference of the British Society for Geomorphology (BSG) is an international Open Conference. The Annual Meeting stimulates debate on new developments and advances in Geomorphology, and is a forum for emerging approaches to solve key challenges throughout pure and applied Geomorphology. The 2015 conference will be hosted by Geography and Environment at University of Southampton from 7th to 9th September.

The 2015 Annual Meeting is deliberately unthemed, in order to encourage contributions from all parts of the discipline. In addition to the normal oral and poster presentations (note that we will dedicate a bespoke session to poster presentations), the conference will also include a programme of workshops and fieldtrips, as detailed in the first circular. Abstract submission will open from 30th March until 24th June, see below. Further information and key deadlines can be found on the first circular which can be accessed in the ‘downloads’ section above.

Registration for the conference is now open. There are a number of packages available, including full member, PGR and options for the workshop and field trip For a breakdown of these please see here. To book your package and make payment please visit the BSG 2015 Annual Conference Registration Site.

Abstract submission:

The deadline for abstract submission is 24th June 2015. Abstracts should be no more than 250 words and be submitted as a word document using the format outlined in the abstract submission guidance document available under the downloads section on the right. We suggest downloading the BSG2015 abstract template document as a guide. You should submit your abstract via email to BSG2015@soton.ac.uk.
