The Annual Conference of the British Society for Geomorphology (BSG) is an international Open Conference. The Annual Meeting stimulates debate on new developments and advances in Geomorphology, and is a forum for emerging approaches to solve key challenges throughout pure and applied Geomorphology.
The 2014 annual conference will be held at the University of Manchester, from 1st – 3rd September.
The conference theme will be: “Geomorphology: Past, Present, Future”
We request abstract submissions (250 words maximum) for both oral and poster presentations. We anticipate oral presentations to be 15 minute slots. Posters will be on display for the duration of the meeting.
Abstract submission is now open and abstracts (formatted as per the guidelines in the second circular – see the downloads section to the right) should be submitted to BSG2014@manchester.ac.uk
Online registration is now open at www.meeting.co.uk/confercare/bsg2014/
The BSG has agreed an enhanced subsidy for postgraduate members of the BSG so that postgraduate registration is substantially less than the figure advertised in the first circular. Please see the second circular for a full list of registration rates.
Provisional timings: To aid in booking accommodation, the ECR workshop will commence at 10:00 on the 1st with the main conference starting at 3:30. On Wednesday the 3rd the final session will conclude at 4:00
Committee member elections are now open. See here for further details.
